On recommendations we were in the "Stifts Keller" and were positively surprised by the quality and the ambience on the terrace so that we dined again for lunch the very next day.
The brewery's own beer is well drinkable, the service is nimble from the first order to food and drink and to the bill. Great team. 👍
The beef burger is really recommended, but also the asparagus salad with breaded asparagus has surprised me very much (do not like to eat asparagus) the curry, however, was good but not decisive for us. Price performance still highly recommended!
Beautiful little place. Great quality food, beer, and service.

Good food and good beer with very friendly and attentive service.
We stopped here after a trip for lunch in the guest garden. This is very comfortable and large. The inside of the inn is also very nice and cozy.
The portions of food were generous and the whole family really enjoyed it.
There is also a large selection of different beers directly from the Schlägl Abbey Brewery! Beer was so good that we visited the brewery shop afterwards and picked up a beer.
No matter the occasion; Whether you're visiting the monastery, tasting a few beers in the guest garden or just passing through from a trip for lunch/dinner - it's definitely a good place to stop off.
The price is just right; especially considering the large portions.
If you visit the monastery, a visit to the monastery cellar is certainly a good idea. With a large and very pleasant outdoor area and a well-kept and cozy indoor area. There are plenty of parking spaces and when the sun is still shining, as was the case when I visited, it is very pleasant to sit outside. The menu reads with a lot of anticipation and so I decided on the pike perch with very tasty potatoes and a well-balanced sauce and crunchy carrots and vegetables. The food is really of good quality and very tasty, I really enjoyed it. The service also definitely deserves recognition and I really liked it. I found the price to be fair and reasonable for the quality.
Very nice cellar and food very good, will come back.
